Chamber Music at Bloomingdale
Bloomingdale School of Music (BSM) is pleased to offer a new chamber music program for musicians of all ages and levels. Small chamber ensembles including duos, trios, quartets and quintets will be arranged each semester based on age and playing level. Adults are enthusiastically encouraged to register! Chamber music groups meet weekly for coaching with a Bloomingdale faculty member. Participants are also encouraged to rehearse on their own at least one other time during the week.
Open to the following instruments: piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, flute, oboe, French horn, trombone, and tuba.
The eight-week fall session begins November 11th at a cost of $312 for the full session.
A placement audition will be necessary to better match players with others from their skill level. Placement auditions consist of 5 minutes of playing representative of your skill level and may be done in person or by video, but must be done on or before November 4th to register for the November 11th session.
