Dakota Chamber Music
DCM 2018, hosted by the piano trio Luminus and woodwind specialist Charlie Young, welcomes guest quartet Beo (returning from Pittsburgh for a third year), Juilliard grad and violist Tim Nelson, and three guest saxophonists: Connie Frigo from Georgia, Matt Younglove from Youngstown State, and Adam Estes, from Ole Miss.
DCM is a string, wind, and piano chamber music festival, now in its 23rd year, providing an intense chamber music experience for up to 80 attendees, including high school, college, and intermediate to advanced adult players. There are daily coaching, rehearsals, individual practice, and masterclasses in preparation for the end-of-the-week concerts. University credit is available and pre-formed groups are welcome.
