Havana Workshop: Mozart Quartets
HW | MQ indulges experienced adult amateur chamber and pre-professional musicians with the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and sites in Havana, Cuba. The workshop provides organized chamber music coaching and listening pleasure while improving instrumental technical skills, chamber music techniques and musical insight. Most ideal for adventurous musicians also seeking travel to Cuba, the workshop integrates the beauty and lifestyle of Cuba with Mozart upon witnessing the street culture of cuisine, museums, architecture, fine arts and mingling with local people between the Mozart learning sessions. Faculty include Michael Dabroski (violin) and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra members Dariusz Skoraczewski (principal cello) and Marcia McHugh (flute).
