Norwegian Chamber Music Society Summer Courses
The coaches are members of the Maggini Quartet, England: Julian Leaper, David Angel, Martin Outram, Michal Kaznowski. Formed in 1988, the Maggini Quartet is established as one of the finest British string quartets, both in performance and through their international "award-winning" recordings. Each day the participants will be tutored in their groups by one of the coaches. Each group will have one main coach. In addition, the coaches will rotate during the course so that each group will have been tutored by all coaches when the course has finished. The courses are primarily for string players, but a limited number of pianists and wind players may be admitted. The maximum number of groups at each course is normally 12. Pre-formed groups will be given priority. It will be assumed that the participants have developed their skills at the instrument beyond beginner's stage, but it is not necessary to have played chamber music before. An electronic application form is available on our web site www.kammermusikkforbundet.no. Applicants without access to a computer may apply by letter. The application should state full name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, year of birth and instrument, and if possible the work to be studied on the course. Information: Randi M.
