One of four chamber music groups at ACMI 2018

Vanderbilt Adult Chamber Music Institute, Nashville, Tennessee

Now in its third season, ACMI invites adult string players and pianists at all levels to the Blair School for four days of making music in chamber groups. Groups will be formed based on background and experience. Daily events will include plenary sessions on technique, reading sessions, and master classes. There will be coaching and chamber group rehearsal sessions, a faculty recital, and final celebratory concert. Vanderbilt faculty: Stephen Miahky and Jessica Blackwell, violins; Christina McGann, viola; Kirsten Cassel Greer, cello; Amy Dorfman, piano.

Cost: $475

Housing: We are happy to provide referrals to area hotels and/or conference centers.

Location: All events will be held at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, 2400 Blakemore Ave., Nashville, Tenn., 37212.
