This workshop is for chamber musicians of all levels and ages who would like to receive coaching and make music in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Pre-formed groups are encouraged to apply. Individual applicants will be placed in a group according to ability and experience. Coaches include Michael Johns (Director of Chamber Music, Swarthmore College) and David Yang (Director of Chamber Music, U.Penn).

The seminar includes two coachings, two rehearsal sessions, and a participants concert. Continental breakfast and lunch from from the Italian market, Philadelphia are optional.

The workshop fee is $120 total. Trio members pay $160 each. Application and fees must be received weeks ahead to allow time for music assignments. You can register by emailing with your name and address and mailing a $25 deposit (which is included as part of the full price for the day) to David Yang/MLS. The director will then be in touch to get an idea of experience level for placement. Spots are not guaranteed and are determined by availability and level. Scholarships are available.
