Apply for support towards coaching fees for your chamber ensemble

Purpose

The Home Coaching program encourages amateur chamber musicians who meet regularly as a group to engage a professional coach in order to gain musical insight, develop efficient rehearsal skills and exchange musical ideas.

  • Amateur Chamber Ensembles

Requirements

  • All ensemble members must be members of ACMP listed in the players directory
  • All ensemble members must be amateur chamber musicians
  • Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the coaching session
  • If this application is for a series of coaching sessions, please submit it 2 weeks prior to the first scheduled session


Guidelines


Individuals may apply multiple times per fiscal year (August 1 – July 31) for a total annual maximum of $300.

You may apply for a single coaching or a series of sessions with the same coach within one application.

To complete this simple one-page application form, you will need to know:

The names and email addresses of your ensemble members

The name and email address of your coach

The repertoire you plan to work on with your coach

Note: Home Coaching Grants can be used for in-person and virtual coaching.

Approval and Invoicing

Applications are typically approved within two weeks of receipt. ACMP will provide an invoice form for the coach, to be submitted to ACMP at the conclusion of the coaching session(s) along with the coach’s completed W-9 form (W-9 is needed for U.S. based coaches only).
