The Lake Placid Chamber Music Seminar is designed to bring adult chamber music enthusiasts of all levels, ages and musical backgrounds together in a warm and welcoming environment to play, study and enjoy the great chamber music literature under the tutelage of a distinguished and supportive faculty. Players may come as individuals and/or as part of a pre-formed group. A typical day includes morning and afternoon coaching sessions followed by optional late afternoon/evening sight-reading sessions, master classes, instrumental workshops, a Feldenkrais Workshop, a faculty concert and two participant performances. Music is assigned at least a month prior to the Seminar. All activities take place in the Lake Placid High School.
