An ACMP CHAMBER MUSIC PLAY-IN

Saturday, June 24th, 2023

12:30- 5:00pm

Central Lutheran Church                                                        1820 NE 21^st Av. Portland, OR  97212                                             (1 block north of BROADWAY at 21^st)

Assuming no new Covid lockdowns, we’ll have our thrice-a-year LOW-ANXIETY Play-In.

To cover utilities for our 9 room, 3 piano building, we request a $10-$!5 (tax-deductible) donation.

      Come make music, meet new players, have fun.        12:30-12:55   Name tags, refreshments, meet, go over group assignments

12:55– 5:00   Chamber Music sessions (trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, etc.)

    Three ~65 minute sessions of rotating players & pieces

Sight-reading skills, and intermediate and  an ACMP rating above intermediate are important for a good experience. Three assigned rotating groups will be assigned to sessions in mid June; each session will decide how much they want to prepare beforehand for their session. (But NOT to performance level).

Bring a stand, &, if inclined, some non-messy snacks to share. We have a large music library on-site. In order to balance groups, rooms, & number of pianos, it’s a first come-first serve reservation basis.Please confirm your RSVP to Ginny  Feldman  now, or by June 5th at the latest.  feldmanvi@gmail.com
