About the Workshop
The week-long Winter Harbor Music Festival Chamber Music workshop offers non-professional musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform at historic Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor at the gateway to the northern section of Acadia National Park. Participants and faculty are housed together, creating a sense of community, by sharing meals and conversation, with opportunities for impromptu music making. Weather permitting outdoor practice is a fantastic way to connect with our instruments bathed in the rugged coastal beauty of our oceanfront festival home, Pt. Alva.
