Ben Pfeifer is a NYC-based amateur cellist, regularly hosting chamber music concerts and play-ins at his Brooklyn home. Ben studied with Anne Martindale Williams in Pittsburgh and as a student attended summer camps at Encore School for Strings, Great Woods and the Chautauqua Institute. He first joined the ACMP in the early 2000's and is active in New York City's chamber music community. Ben plays regularly with several chamber groups, arranging coaching sessions and performances, and enjoys meeting new friends for sight reading.
Ben began his professional career in finance and investment banking. After getting his MBA at INSEAD in France, he transitioned into management and executive roles in the technology industry. He was an SVP and General Manager at Shutterstock and has twice been CEO of venture-studio backed technology startups. He currently leads Finance for Vendelux, a NY technology startup.
Ben lives with his wife Sheri, son Jack and dog Leo in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.
