About the Play-In
Our first year holding a Play-In for adult cellists in the Triangle Area!
SATURDAY, May 18 at Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4907 Garrett Road. 3 Sessions – come for as many as you choose! 10 – 12, 12 – 2 and 2 – 4!
$20 a session or all 3 for $50! Welcome to all and only cellists ages 16 – 86!!!
Refreshments available.
Designed for the cellist, age 16 and older, to explore the amazing cello ensemble repertoire. Each session will offer a beginner, intermediate and advanced group – self sort – and a professional will be helping in each room. You’ll play music from different genres, time periods, arrangers, and with the best folks on earth, CELLISTS! One rule, be kind and support your fellow musicians.
Beginner (can play in 1st and stretch positions, some comfort with 4th position)
Intermediate (enjoys playing in 1st position through harmonic range, some experience with tenor clef)
Advanced (lots of complex rhythms and harmonies, some thumb position and possible G clef experience)
Pre registration by MAY 15 is necessary, but payment only on that day. No Risk!!
