About the Workshop

We offer a weeklong Chamber Music intensive, August 1-11, with side-by-side coaching from within ensembles. The workshop is based on the premise that we grow as musicians by rehearsing and performing with advanced players, where all voices are heard and considered equally. Repertoire is chosen by participants and based upon musicians who will be attending.
Located on the Schoodic Peninsula, near the northern section of Acadia National Park, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the bold coast of Downeast Maine. There will be two workshop concerts, on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, the 10th, at historic Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor and additional opportunities to perform at outreach events.
