About the Performance
Join DCCM as we return to the Lyceum for a blockbuster chamber music concert including two truly popular standards, a premiere of a new work, and the lovely Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano. The concert lasts approximately 2 hours, with one 10 minute intermission.
On the program:
- Johannes Brahms Piano Trio No. 1
- Francis Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano
- Kyle Simmons Quintet for Violin and Winds (premiere)
- Felix Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 1
The Lyceum is located in central Old Town Alexandria. Very limited parking on site, but plenty of nearby on-street parking. King St. Metro Station is about a 15 minute walk.
