Tommaso Napoli

I was born in 1981 in Milan.

I graduated in philosophy of science and sociology in Milan under the guidance of Giulio Giorello and Marina Calloni and in the meantime I studied violin privately with Maurizio Schiavo, Elena Ponzoni and Laura Riccardi.

I've obtained my Phd at the IUAV University of Venice with a thesis entitled "Musical Participation Policies".

I'm one of the fouder of AIMA - Associazione Italiana Musicisti Amatori (www.aimamusic.it), today the largest network of amateur musicians in Italy.

About two years ago I also started to play the viola.
