Background & Offerings

I am a violin teacher in Madison, WI. I have taught private lessons and coached chamber music for the past 30 years. I have degrees from Oberlin College, Manhattan School of Music, Temple University, and the University of WI-Madison. My favorite part of being a musician is playing chamber music either on modern or baroque violin, and I keep an active performing schedule as a freelancer.

I also serve as Assistant Artistic Director and concertmaster of Madison Bach Musicians. During the summer, I teach at Credo summer chamber music festival at Oberlin College and am the director of MBM’s Summer Chamber Music Workshop. I have special interest in early music and have performed with many period ensembles in the US and have given lecture-recitals at universities and festivals.
