I received a first class performing degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1997 having studied with Joy Farrall, Dame Thea King and Andrew Webster. I was successful in a number of high profile competitions including Winner of Woodwind Section and Concerto Finalist in the 1994 BBC Young Musician of the Year and Winner of Wind/Brass Prize and Grand Finalist in the 1997 Royal Over-Seas League Competiton. I am Founder and Artistic Director of acclaimed chamber ensemble CHROMA, formed in 1997. I have been teaching for over 25 years and am currently Head of Woodwind at Highgate School. I have close links with the Royal Academy of Music, Oxford University and Royal Holllway University of London, where I have been Visiting Lecturer in Contemporary Chamber Music.
