Adult Chamber Music Retreat

About the Workshop

Are you an adult musician, college student, community orchestra member, or music educator seeking opportunities to explore chamber music repertoire and perform with others in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere?

Join us among the beautiful lakes and forests of northern Minnesota for a week of making music, networking, and learning. We’ll be inspired by the beauty of nature, perform side-by-side with world-class faculty, and meet like-minded chamber music enthusiasts.

For this retreat, we especially welcome applications from string, woodwind, piano, percussion, and French horn players.

The retreat features:

• Chamber music coachings by TCCC musicians and guest artists

• Rehearsals side by side with TCCC coaches and artists

• Daily yoga practice designed specifically for musicians

• Instrumental technique classes

• Sight-reading sessions

• Guest Artist talk and performance

• Final ensemble performances

• Additional activities: Faculty opening concert & reception, community drumming circle

Tuition is $475, including a $50 nonrefundable registration fee. Apply before February 1 to waive the application fee! Room and board not included. TCCC will provide a list of local accomodations.
