This extended weekend workshop, festival and retreat on the Sonoma coast welcomes pre-formed chamber ensembles, as well as lieder and chamber music enthusiasts to enjoy an intensive examination of the chamber music and songs of Franz Schubert. The members of the Alexander String Quartet will be joined by concert pianist Jeffrey LaDeur and mezzo soprano Kindra Scharich. Singers and pianists interested in being coached in lieder performance are also welcomed in addition to instrumental chamber music players.
These musicians will be joined by a faculty of healthcare professionals and practitioners in the humanities in the provision of a life-enhancing experience. This all takes place at the Ratna Ling Retreat Center, where participants can take full advantage of Ratna Ling’s superb offerings in mind, spirit and body enhancement.
