About the Workshop
At the core of CMIsc is an opportunity to receive intensive, twice-weekly coaching on the assigned literature. Coaches rotate among quartets that are carefully matched and assigned each summer. Join us for string quartets by women and men composers! July 7-23, 2023, each group (ages 8-88) will learn a movement by a woman composer, as well as the string quartet canon. Our great coaches encourage trying new ideas, new works, and improvising. $200 tuition and scholarships are available. Five rehearsals and performance July 23 in the Nixon Library, Yorba Linda.
