Chamber Music Weekend

About the Workshop

CMW is a retreat for recreational music-making. We host between 60 and 80 string players (winds and pianists by invitation only), in a very full weekend of chamber music reading parties. Players are pre-assigned to different groups each session, but groups choose their own music from a very large library of offerings (over 1,200!). We meet on the campus of Southern Adventist University, The fee covers CMW activities and 3 meals. Housing and remaining meals are the responsibility of the participant. CMW is open to a variety of levels, and is hosted by a musical family who shares chamber music as our common language. For students high-school age and below, our partner event is At First Sight (AtFirstSight.org)
