About the Workshop
The DaPonte String Quartet is offering a workshop for string quartets, string trios, or string quintets this May from May 9 to May 11 in Freeport, ME. Pre-formed groups will be coached by members of the DSQ (www.dapontequartet.org) over the weekend. Groups will receive coaching from members of the DaPonte String Quartet, Lydia Forbes, Kirsten Monke, Myles Jordan, and Philipp Elssner. We have developed a system of rehearsal techniques for the development of quartet intonation, ensemble, phrase structure, and score analysis not likely to be found elsewhere.
We do not provide meals or housing. Our workshop tuition has been reduced to $225 per person because of a grant from ACMP. Please join us for this unique workshop.
