Experience a weekend intensive chamber music workshop which includes rehearsals, daily coaching by professional musicians along with chamber music masterclasses. Our weekend will conclude with a chamber music concert in Eastman’s beautiful Hatch Recital Hall.
Open to adult musicians over 18 of intermediate-advanced levels who play stringed instruments (including advanced piano), woodwinds or brass. Pass participants do not need to send a recording. New individual string players will need to send a short recording to the director. Pre formed string groups are welcomed as well. Potential registrants who are brass or woodwind players, should already be in a pre formed group. Please send a short recording to rzalkind@esm.rochester.edu. Registration is not complete until the group is approved by the director. Register early, as the program tends to fill up by April.
Musicians will receive music well ahead of the start of the workshop.
