Chamber Music Workshop with Delgani Quartet

About the Workshop

November 4 and 5

Delgani’s workshops are designed for instrumentalists (strings, woodwinds, piano) who want to improve their chamber music skills while exploring new repertoire. Individuals–students, professionals, and amateurs –and pre-formed groups are invited to apply.

Individuals will be placed into ensembles with fellow participants. Groups will have rehearsals, coachings, explore repertoire in reading sessions, attend seminars, and have the opportunity to perform. There will also be opportunities to read music with others and work with members of the Delgani String Quartet.

WHO: All levels of violinists, violists, cellists, and woodwinds, and advanced pianists.

WHEN: Saturday Nov. 4 (10 am to 4 pm) and Sunday Nov. 5 (12 to 6 pm)

WHERE: United Lutheran Church, 2230 Washington St, Eugene OR 97405

PRACTICAL DETAILS:

• For lunch break Saturday, plan to pack a lunch or get something close by.

• An optional performance will be Sunday evening.

• Traveling to Eugene from out of the area? we may be able to help you find a place to stay on Friday and/or Saturday night. Email us directly

• Registration deadline is October 2.

Participants will need to include a link to a recent video during registration. Please record yourself playing something and upload it to YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo. You will be asked for the link when you register. This is used only for group placement.
