“Overture, Burlesque de Quixotte”

Explore the character, style, ornamentation and bowings associated with this beautiful piece of high Baroque repertoire by George Phillipp Telemann. This piece of music recounts the memorable story, in music, of Don Quixote. Learn how to apply these techniques while playing this work on your modern instruments.
We welcome amateur string players, recorder players and viol players who have some chamber music experience. This workshop will help develop and enhance your skills and abilities to play repertoire of this era. The pitch will be A=440.
