This workshop is for chamber musicians of all levels and ages who would like to receive coaching and make music in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Pre-formed groups are encouraged to apply. Individual applicants will be placed in a group according to ability and experience.
Coaches include Michael Johns (Director of Chamber Music, Swarthmore College) and David Yang (Director of Chamber Music, U.Penn)

9:00 – 9:30 Welcome and registration with coffee and bagels
9:30 – 11:00 Coaching/Rehearsal
11:00 – 12:30 Coaching/Rehearsal
12:30 – 1:30 Lunch
1:30 – 2:45 Coaching/Rehearsal
2:45 – 3:30 Coaching/Rehearsal
3:30 – 5:00 Performance class
HOW (REGISTRATION AND FEES)
Cost for the workshop is $120 total
Trio members pay $160 each
Application and fees must be received weeks ahead to allow time for music assignments. You can register by emailing with your name and address and mailing a $25 deposit (which is included as part of the full price for the day) to David Yang/MLS, 710 South Warnock Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147-1944.
The director will then be in touch to get an idea of experience level for placement. Spots are not guaranteed and are determined by availability and level.
