About the Workshop

Join us in a unique , non-competitive learning and playing experience for amateur string players(and some winds and piano) of all levels of play in Manchester, Vt. Small chamber ensembles will be assigned according to self-assessment and music you’ve played in the past 12 months. Three pieces of repertoire will be assigned and sent about 4 weeks prior to the workshop.The program’s focus will be on playing the repertoire, authentically, in chamber music style.Sight reading sessions , master classes, ample coaching and rehearsal times will fill our days and evenings. Great breakfasts, dinners included. Superb coaching faculty! A Saturday evening performance and group play-in will be a wonderful highlight for all.
