About the Workshop

Good-level amateur orchestral workshop combining a very pleasant mix of quality music teaching (with 6-7 hours a day of tutti and sectional rehearsals, conducted by M° Matthieu Mantanus with the help of professional tutors for strings and wind) and free time for excursions or self-organised chamber music. Our new headquarters are a beautiful early 20th-century Liberty-style building offering accommodation for up to 100 people, a restaurant, plenty of halls to rehearse and wonderful views of the Alpine surroundings! 

Thanks to a collaboration with the prestigious Società dei Concerti di Milano, the Musicando Academy will be the residence orchestra of their new Mondadizza Music Week festival: in addition to playing a great Romantique symphony, we will also accompany a trio of young professional soloists in the festival final concerts.

Some 50 participants join every year from all over the world since our first workshop in 2010! Why don’t you?
