NECP ACES is 5 days of intensive side-by-side chamber music study, rehearsal, and performance with the core members of New England Chamber Players as artist faculty.
In our inaugural year, this program is open to adult (18+) woodwind players with an interest in studying chamber performance but without professional performance aspirations.
We will be selecting 2 flutists, 2 oboists, 2 clarinetists, 2 bassoonists, and 2 horn players to create two woodwind quintets.
Pre-formed wind quintets are also invited to apply.
Participants will receive:
1 hour of private instruction with the NECP artist-faculty member on your instrument.
5 hours of rehearsal/coaching with a wind quintet and members of NECP culminating in a public/streamed performance Saturday, August 28th at 2 pm.
5 hours of coaching/rehearsal of a dectet side-by-side with NECP artist faculty culminating in a public/streamed performance.
Tuition is $350 for the entire period.
Room and board are not provided.
