Debby Greenblatt is offering an Ornamentation Workshop on-line for musicians who want to decorate their tunes with a variety of embellishments. The ornaments discussed will include trills, mordents, turns, etc. The workshop, streamed from The Old Avoca, NE Schoolhouse, will be on Friday, July 31, from 7 PM – 8 PM.
Before the Workshop, students will receive an e-mail with some of the musical examples that will be explored. During the Workshop, many different ornaments will be discussed, and demonstrated. By the end of the session, each musician will have a better idea of what to do, and how to do it.
