About the Play-In

Das BKL-Play-In (English version below) bietet die Möglichkeit, zwanglos mit anderen Musici zusammenzukommen und gemeinsam zu musizieren – ohne Vorspiel, ohne Auftritt, ohne Druck! Meldet euch für eine oder für beide Musizierrunden an. Die Ensembles – vom Trio bis zum Nonett(!) – werden pro Sitzung neu zusammengestellt und entscheiden dann, was sie spielen möchten – entweder prima vista oder vorbereitete und mitgebrachte Stücke.

Zeitplan:

15:00 bis 16:00 Uhr: Begrüßung und gemeinsamer Auftakt,
16:00 bis 17:30 Uhr: 1. Musizierrunde,
17:30 bis 18:00 Uhr: Pause mit Kaffee und Kuchen oder Fingerfood-Buffet (jeder bringe eine Kleinigkeit mit!),
18:00 bis 19:30 Uhr: 2. Musizierrunde, und
19:30 bis 20:00 Uhr: gemeinsames Aufräumen und Adé.

Anschließend – für alle, die wollen – ein Abschluss in einem Restaurant in der Nähe?

Der Eintritt ist frei, aber eine freiwillige Spende von ein paar Euro hilft, die Kosten des Play-Ins zu decken und wird (in bar) sicherlich nicht abgelehnt werden.

Das Berliner Play-In ist offen für Amateur-Musici mit etwas Kammermusik-Erfahrung, ob geblasen, gestrichen oder “getastet” – es gibt zwei Flügel und ein kleines Cembalo kann mitgebracht werden, falls gewünscht. Natürlich ist eine gewisse Fähigkeit, unbekannte Stücke mittleren Schwierigkeitsgrades prima vista zu spielen, von Vorteil, aber andererseits gilt natürlich auch, dass man das Blattspiel nur verbessern kann, indem man es tut…

Bitte meldet euch mit einer E-Mail bei knoch@posteo.de an – nicht zuletzt, damit wir passende Noten bereithalten können. Ihr erhaltet dann so schnell wie möglich eine Antwort.

The BKL Play-In offers the opportunity to come together casually with other musicians and make music together – no performance, no coaching, no pressure! Sign up for one or both music-making sessions. The ensembles – from trio to nonet(!) – will be newly formed per session and then decide what they would like to play – either prima vista or prepared and brought along pieces.

3:00 to 4:00 pm: Welcome and joint warm-up,
4:00 to 5:30 pm: 1st music session,
5:30 to 6:00 pm: coffee cookie and cake or finger food buffet break (everyone bring a little something!),
6:00 to 7:30 pm: 2nd session, and
7:30 to 8:00 pm: Tidying up together and saying goodbye.

Afterwards, for all those who want to, a closing at a restaurant in the neighbarhood?

There is no fee, but an optional donation of a few euros will help cover the costs of the Play-In and (cash) will certainly not be refused.

The Berlin Play-In is open to amateur musicians with some chamber music experience: winds, strings or pianoforte – there are grand pianos and possibly a small harpiscord could be brought along! Of course, a certain ability to sight-read / to play unknown pieces of medium difficulty is of advantage, but on the other hand it is also true that sight-reading skills can only be learned and improved by practicing sight-reading…
