The Old Avoca Schoolhouse in Avoca, Nebraska will be streaming an on line “Polka Play Along” for folks who play fiddle, violin, viola, cello, bass, and mandolin. This fun “Play Along” will be on Sunday, June 27, from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM, US Central Time.
Each participant will receive a pdf copy of our “Polka Sampler for Two”,
written for the instrument of their choice.
The 19 traditional tunes in the “Polka Sampler for Two” collection are curated from previously published Greenblatt & Seay Publications: “Czech Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Danish Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Finnish Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “French Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Irish Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Norwegian Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Polish Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Skinner Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Swedish Fiddle Tunes for Two”, “Wedding Fiddle Tunes for Two”, and “Welsh Fiddle Tunes for Two”.
During the session, we will play, and experience what makes these tunes so special and fun.
Pre-registration required. The fee for the “Polka Play Along” is $15.00.
