Summertrios holds 3 weeks of Workshops in June in Lancaster PA, offering a vibrant musical experience for adult, non-professional musicians of all abilities the chance to play chamber music in a friendly, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere. The imaginative, insightful, and world-class faculty invite you to inspire and transform your musical journey.  There are no admission criteria, everyone is welcome.

ProAm Week, June 6-13 For Piano, Winds, and Strings: Step up to your absolute best and play chamber music with Summertrios' world-class faculty! Choose two works to rehearse and perform with the gifted and caring performer/coaches. Receive daily coachings, rehearsals and Lab Sessions. There are ample opportunities to sight-read with fellow participants. The week culminates in 3 participant concerts. 

Improv Across Music with Mark Helias, For Piano, Winds, and Strings: June 13-20: Anyone can improvise! Join expert bassist/composer/educator Mark Helias in an inspiring exploration of ensemble improvisation. Winds, strings, pianists, composers, and percussionists of all levels and musical backgrounds work together in small groups to discover the joy of improvising in a collegial, supportive setting.   Whether new to improvisation or an expert, Mark tailors the sessions to best meet your needs in a collaborative, fluid, and pro-participation setting. There are no wrong notes.

Intensive Week June 21-27 For Piano, Winds, and Strings: Focus on two works at Intensive Week with in-depth coaching, rehearsal and performance opportunities. Daily coached sessions allow for a deep exploration of the composer's musical language. Participants are placed in well-matched ensembles.  Pre-formed groups are welcome. Limit 10 Pianists.
