About the Workshop
Summertrios holds two weeks of workshops in June in Lancaster PA, offering a vibrant musical experience for adult, non-professional musicians of all abilities the chance to play chamber music in a friendly, encouraging, and supportive atmosphere. The imaginative, insightful, and world-class faculty invite you to inspire and transform your musical journey. There are no admission criteria, everyone is welcome.
About Intensive Workshop: Prepare two (or three) pieces in a supportive, collegial atmosphere. Daily coaching sessions allow for a deep exploration of the composer’s musical language. Also, reading opportunities to just play – or practice sight-reading. Want to be busier? We may be able to place you in a third group. Participants are placed in well-matched ensembles. Pre-formed groups are welcome. Bring your performance to the next level and leave with tools to use at home.
