About the Event
Unsung Heroes is a wonderful immersive weeks playing and learning for cellists of varied standards from Grade 3 upwards. Created and directed by Catherine Black, this course has an established following form around the world. Each year has a theme & memorable programme of music arranged for cello ensemble. Each day starts with developmental classes exploring musical-technical ideas. We get under the skin of the historical context, we develop musicianship in many ways and your ensemble playing skills. This holistic approach brings confidence. A strong, friendly, welcoming core of cellists awaits you in this lovely frindly, beautiful town that nestles in the South Downs. Cellos and bows can be rented and I can give help with finding B&Bs, or hotels.
