𝆗 Stephan Brandel is an enthusiastic violin and viola player, with special love for classical and jazz music 𝆗

Stephan played in “The Management Symphony” in Leipzig, a project orchestra where German top executives meet once a year to rehearse and perform challenging symphonic literature, professionally guided by famous conductors such as Riccardo Chailly.

In 2007 Stephan founded the “Beijing International Orchestra (BIO)”, a symphonic ensemble in Beijing with 35 players from various countries.

In 2008, he was appointed as China Representative and Member of the International Ambassadors Council by ACMP.

In 2011 he became member of the Shanghai City Symphony Orchestra.

After coming to Shanghai he also dived into the jazz music scene, playing Balkan music, gypsy and swing jazz.

As International Director of a larger German Group he is commuting between his two homes in Germany and China.

During his worldwide business trips he highly appreciates the ACMP member directory as THE tour guide for meeting wonderful musicians in various countries.
