Suzuki Community Strings is an organization having the following mission and vision:
Our mission is to impart knowledge, encouragement, and enthusiasm as we guide our students to develop their inner-musician via the Suzuki Way.
Our vision is peace and understanding through music.
A core part of the Suzuki philosophy is group playing. We engage group playing by regularly playing Suzuki repertoire, encouraging sight-reading of harmony, having instruction and practice in group improvisation, and participating in the annual ACMP world-wide play-in.
