About the Workshop

The Artaria String Quartet offers pre-formed string ensembles of three to six players a weekend of opportunities for in-depth score study, personal practice with views of fall foliage, private participant performance, side by side reading session, an Artaria performance at the Inn of the Sacred Clay, and a guided walk through karst forest. Groups may stay with the Artaria String Quartet at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center or in one of the many lovely B & B’s in the area. The Retreat has taken place annually since 2000. Covid protocols and indoor KN95 masking are observed.

Stay at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center with the Artaria String Quartet and fellow chamber musicians among the naturalists, or arrange to stay at one of Lanesboro’s many fine B@B’s.

Tuition per Participant: $300

Lodging at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center: 

• double occupancy suite $120/person 

• single occupancy $170
