Associated Chamber Music Players is an international membership organization with the mission of supporting chamber music for pleasure. Founded in 1947, ACMP now has over 5,000 members in 56 countries who connect with fellow chamber music players, discover workshops and educational opportunities, and learn about chamber music activities throughout the world.
Since making the audacious move to dues-free membership in 2022, we rely on member support to help ACMP serve as the go-to source for all things of interest to amateur chamber musicians around the world.
In 1993, a substantial bequest from the businessman, amateur violinist and amateur astronomer Clinton B. Ford sparked the incorporation of the ACMP Foundation, allowing ACMP to launch the world’s only grants program to financially support amateur chamber music activities.
Thanks to contributors like you who have followed Mr. Ford’s lead, each year thousands of people benefit from programs operated and/or supported by ACMP.
ACMP Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all contributions are fully tax-deductible in the United States of America, to the extent allowed by law.
