Come discover the magic of the Vermont Music and Arts Center adult chamber music workshop for a week or more this summer. Fondly known as “Vee-Mac” to its devotees, VMAC has it all — strings, woodwinds, piano, early music, a Bach Bash, an evening of chamber orchestra, faculty concerts, an optional student performance, voice and, yes, art. We are different from other workshops. Invite one of our wonderful faculty to coach you, whether in the traditional way from outside your group, or by playing in your ensemble. Form your own groups, play whatever you like, with or without a coach, or sign up for more concentrated study of one of the suggested Works of the Week or a piece of your choice. Play great music and odd music, folk dance, do yoga, get silly in public at Fun Night or goof off amid the splendor of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
