Danbury Music Centre Chamber Music Intensive

About the Workshop

Our program offers an opportunity for string players (violin, viola, and cello), ages 15 and up to play chamber music in a non-competitive setting.

Violinists Joana Genova (Montclair State University, The Indianapolis Quartet) and Heather Braun (Boston University, Arneis String Quartet), violist Ariel Rudiakov (University of Indianapolis, Danbury Symphony Orchestra) and cellist Nathaniel Parke (Bennington College)  will bring their extensive experience into the coaching sessions and a faculty performance.

The daily sessions will consist of coachings, opportunities for the groups to rehearse in their own, side-by-side string repertoire reading and informal masterclasses. In some cases, private lessons may be allowed.
