2025 Chaparral Chamber Music Workshop

About the Workshop

Play great music, make new friends! CCMW is an enjoyable weekend workshop for novice and experience musicians where ensemble skills are honed in a relaxing, supportive environment. Located in the cool pines of historic Prescott, AZ musicians work on small ensemble music for piano, strings, woodwinds and percussion. Adult track, Adult Learner Track, and Student Track (for ages 13-18) are offered. Pre-formed groups are accepted but not required.

The 3-day fee includes at least 5 hours of coach-led sessions, ensemble rehearsal time, sheet music, special topic clinics, Friday dinner, great experience and great fun! Course fee is $240 through March 15 and $275 March 16-30. Course fee includes a non-refundable $25 registration fee. Registration deadline is March 30; after that date, please email kshields@chaparralchambermusic.org to check space availability. Participants receive a certificate for 16 Workshop Hours, which can be used for Teaching Certificate renewal. CCMW culminates in a free public Concert, Sunday June 1 at 3:15 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Prescott. Come out and play!
