Jacobs School of Music – Chamber Music Seminar

About the Workshop

Join us for the Chamber Music Seminar at the Jacobs School of Music! Our focus will be chamber groups of piano and strings, strings only, or strings plus a limited number of winds. Both pre-formed chamber ensembles and individual players are welcome to apply.

This intensive seminar will consist of coaching, rehearsals, ensembles, yoga, concerts, lectures, and performances. Participants will receive expert coaching on a daily basis, with faculty members from the Jacobs School of Music, the Atlanta Opera, and New England Conservatory.

Participants will also have the chance to take part in ad-hoc reading sessions in small and large ensembles, meet contemporary composers, and take-in the campus and community offerings. Informal performances will create culminating experiences for the session.
