About the Workshop

The NashvilleCMS Adult Chamber Music Intensive (March 6–8, 2026) is a three-day retreat for passionate adult string players who want to deepen their skills and connect through the art of chamber music. Hosted at the beautiful Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville, this immersive weekend brings together musicians of all levels for an inspiring blend of coaching, performance, and community.

Participants will enjoy coachings with world-class faculty, including members of the Cavani Quartet, the Nashville Symphony, the Blair String Quartet, and musicians of NashvilleCMS. The weekend also features a welcome concert, a studio-class style open workshop, a string orchestra read-along, a sight-reading party, and a casual closing brunch performance. Whether you’re a seasoned player, an adult learner, or returning to your instrument after some time away, the Intensive offers a supportive space to grow, collaborate, and make lasting musical connections.

Tuition is $550 (housing not included), with need-based scholarships available. Musicians ages 18 and up are welcome to apply. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of learning and music-making in the heart of Nashville. Early bird applications are due December 1, 2025, and final applications will be accepted through January 16, 2026, with a $30 application fee.
