Workshop “Tutti Cambristi” 2026 in Blonay, Switzerland

About the Workshop

Cambristi Lemani’s annual workshop “Tutti Cambristi” brings together amateur musicians from western Switzerland and other european countries (we have had participants from France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands). We are hosted by the beautiful Hindemith Foundation in Blonay, at the foot of the Alps, overlooking lake Geneva. Approximately 8 chamber music groups will have 3 sessions with professional coaches. They will work on their musical skills and on the interpretation of one or two chosen piece.

In-between sessions, we “mix and match” musicians to form impromptu ensembles and provide suggested pieces for sight-reading. Evenings are devoted to Play-Ins: workshop participants search through the available scores and spontaneously assemble groups, then scatter into the foundation’s 7 rooms where they can play the piece before coming back for another round with another ensemble.

The workshop ends with a small concert by the workshop participants.
