Join amateur musicians around the globe by participating in the Associated Chamber Music Players Worldwide Play-In in Seattle. Play at your own event or join the community event at Music Center. Please share this invitation with friends, acquaintances, orchestra – anyone who might be interested.
The ACMP Seattle play-in provides an opportunity to enjoy playing music with existing and new musician friends! Just sight-reading. No performance, no coaching, no pressure! Sign up for one or two ensembles. Each group will decide prior to the play-in what they want to play.
Will it be safe to gather in May? We will be able to gather but please be aware that Music Center is requiring proof of vaccination and masks. For aerosol instruments, masks may be removed while playing. Bell covers are required for wind instruments. You will be notified if this policy changes.
Fee: An optional $5 donation to Music Center of the Northwest will help cover the cost of the play-in, payable at the door by cash or check made out to Music Center of the Northwest.
The Seattle play-in is open to amateur musicians (strings, piano, winds) with at least 2 years playing experience, ability to sight read a variety of music in different keys, and some experience playing chamber music. You do not need to be a member of ACMP but you can enjoy the benefits of membership by joining at https://www.acmp.net/
