Home Coaching

Get up to 50% off of coaching fees for your group of musicians.

Purpose

The Home Coaching program encourages amateur chamber musicians who meet regularly as a group to engage a professional coach in order to gain musical insight, develop efficient rehearsal skills and exchange musical ideas.


Eligibility

Eligible Recipients

  • Amateur Chamber Ensembles

Requirements

  • All ensemble members must be members of ACMP
  • All ensemble members must be amateur chamber musicians
  • Ensembles may apply up to three times during the fiscal year for a total maximum of $300
  • Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the coaching session
  • If there are a series of coaching sessions planned, the application must be submitted before the first scheduled session


Guidelines


To complete this simple one-page application form, you will need to know:

The names and email addresses of your ensemble members

The name and email address of your coach

The repertoire you plan to work on with your coach

Note: Home Coaching Grants can be used for in-person and virtual coaching.

Maximum Request

ACMP provides up to 50% of the coach’s fee, not exceeding $300 per applicant per year. Each ensemble may engage more than one coach if desired, but the grant amount remains the same.

Approval and Invoicing

Applications are typically approved within one week of receipt. ACMP will provide an invoice form for the coach, to be submitted to ACMP at the conclusion of the coaching session(s) along with the coach’s completed W-9 form.
