Kammermusik Workshops UK

Kammermusik Workshops UK’s mission is to provide workshops that inspire artistic and personal growth in adult amateur chamber musicians, supported by the highest-quality professional coaches. Instrumentation includes woodwinds, strings and pianos. We aim to offer workshops that are friendly, supportive and non-competitive – no stress, no auditions – where everyone can improve musical skills and ensemble playing. We also aim to ensure qualified participants are never turned away for lack of financial means. To this end, we are structured and managed to support an extensive scholarship programme, enabling those with a love of music but limited means to take part, and to bring their chamber music enthusiasm and skills back to their own communities.

Kammermusik Workshops UK, CIO, is a new, independent charity with its own board of trustees, formed in October 2025 to run autumn workshops in Oxford for adult amateur chamber musicians, UK Charity Number: 1215574. It grew out of Kammermusik Workshops, Inc., the Santa Fe, New Mexico, organisation long supported by ACMP (kammermusikworkshops.org). The new charity and its independent trustees now have full responsibility for the Oxford workshops.
