New York String Studio shares Tips and Treats video series
Professional violist Nick Revel and his wife Nora Krohn of the NY Strings Studio have shared their series of short tips videos for strings players with ACMP. Entitled Tips and Treats, the series covers everything from handling performance nerves to approaching a new piece and establishing a good practice routine. The videos have received thousands of views since the series started last September. Nick and Nora recommend viewing the last video first.

The Daraja Music Initiative: 15 years of Music and Conservation in Tanzania
Since 2017, ACMP member clarinetist and nonprofit leader Alexys Bush has traveled to Tanzania, Africa where she teaches general music and clarinet for the Daraja Music Initiative (DMI), for whom she serves as Assistant Director. DMI bridges music education and the conservation of Tanzania's national tree - the African Blackwood, also known as ebony - used to make clarinets, oboes, piccolos, and some string fingerboards.
