ACMP member/violinist Anthea Kreston (former violinist of the Artemis Quartettt in Berlin) is offering fellow ACMP members a $20 discount on her Inside Music Academy Virtual Music Institute Adult Learner intensive music camps this summer! You can register by the week. The final session starting on August 9 is sold-out, but there are five more! ACMP members get an automatic $20 discount by checking the box “ACMP member” at registration, and an additional $20 reimbursement if you book more than one session (i.e. a total potential discount of $40).
Register for the Inside Music Academy
All instruments are welcome! There are teachers of flute, clarinet, trumpet, piano, strings and conducting.
It all started with a story in the New York Times about Anthea and her student during the first lockdown in Chengdu, China:
She was inspired to create Inside Music Academy – complete with a virtual music building where participants can hang out in the Music Lounge and cafeteria, browse the library, practice in the rehearsal rooms and study in the lesson rooms. Daily Nano-concerts, lessons with teachers from Curtis, Oberlin, Juilliard and Rice, rise-and-shine warmups and flipgrid concerts round out each week, filled with fun activities and a chance to play your heart out.
Inside Music Academy’s flexible, module format with live instruction allows you to dip in as much as you want – come for the casual experience or deep dive into your repertoire.
